I learned the value of great storytelling as a photojournalist and picture editor in top newsrooms. Our team was recognized with The Pulitzer Prize and the Emmy Award for Overall Excellence.

Our team at Clearlink/The Penny Hoarder created a dynamic, circular fly-in for mobile which immediately increased email signups over 245%.
We created new landing pages for the site, helping to organize our most read content and making It easier for readers to read multiple, related content articles.

Drilling Through Danger
I served first as Photography Editor, then Creative/Visuals Editor overseeing teams of Photojournalists, Videographers, Video Editors and Photo Editors at The Orlando Sentinel and The Denver Post.
At The Post, our team completed a year-long documentary project looking into unreported deaths and lack of safety in the oil nd gas industry.
Our team received the Emmy for Overall Excellence, the first for a non-television news outlet and Emmy for Community Service for the project.
